ASOPRS Resident Travel GrantsThe ASOPRS Resident Travel Grant program supports residents from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine who are interested in oculofacial plastic surgery. By offsetting the cost of attending the ASOPRS Fall Scientific Symposium, the program provides opportunities for education, mentorship, and professional connection. We are pleased to offer travel grants to eligible ophthalmology residents (PGY1-4) who are interested in OPS as a specialty and in attending the ASOPRS Fall Scientific Symposium. Thank you to ASOPRS Foundation for their sponsorship of the grants. Eligibility:
Consideration will be given to applicants’ personal background and their interest and commitment to serving diverse and medically underserved communities. Up to five (5) travel grants are awarded per year with a maximum of $2000 per grant. The grant is provided as reimbursement to recipients after expenses have been incurred. Reimbursements are limited to ASOPRS Fall Scientific Symposium costs including lodging during the meeting, airfare, travel expenses (transportation, parking, etc.), and meals not served during the meeting. ASOPRS Fall Scientific Symposium registration fees will be waived for grant recipients. 2026 Applications ASOPRS Resident Travel Grants are generously supported by the ASOPRS Foundation. |
